There’s a bit of a running joke with my postman and the delivery men around my way, because they say I keep them in work. And I do like a bit of online shopping, I must admit, but it’s usually items we are sent to review, and that’s the nature of the work I do. But the other day, a parcel arrived for Bill and Daisy. Bill was at school, and Daisy was a little bit too eager to see what was inside, so we took a peek.
Inside the box, was a gorgeous Frugi gift bag, which are nice and sturdy and survived the post well! What I also love about this is that you wouldn’t need to wrap your gifts. Genius idea for busy parents in the run-up to Christmas.
Now, we’ve worked with Frugi this year, and they have been so kind in sending us some gorgeous clothes for the kiddos to wear. They are all extremely well-made with the softest organic cotton that lasts washes so well. And that always surprises me as Frugi’s items are so rainbow bright and lovely, but you would expect some wear over time, especially when you wash things as much as we do in this house. But no – we still have our sleep suits from last time and they are just as colourful as the day we unwrapped them.
Inside was a message for Bill and Daisy, wishing them a Merry Christmas. Which Bill loved when he got home from school – he always asks who parcels are for and his face lit up when I showed him what had arrived for him and his sister.
Inside, was a gorgeous (and I mean gorgeous) Charlie Romper for Daisy. It’s red, with white stars and a fluffy Christmas polar bear on the front. I squealed because it’s perfect for Christmas pyjamas, if you have a tradition like we do where you buy a new pair of pyjamas every year for Christmas. The cotton is so thick and Daisy was so snug while she watched her big brother in his nativity that day (you can see a vlog of that here if you like – I’m doing Vlogmas this year!).
Also inside was a Froogli Soft Toy for Bill – we have Dash the Leopard and Daisy loved a quick cuddle while her big brother wasn’t looking. But she needn’t have worried as, after Bill had a good play with him, he walked up to Daisy and said: “Here you go baby girl, you can have him. You don’t have as many toys as me, so we can share.” And it might be a bit unrelated, but isn’t that what Christmas is about? A time for giving.
Speaking of giving, Frugi are also holding a giveaway, where you can win this gorgeous Frugi hamper, pictured below.
All you have to do to enter is visit Frugi Family Competition and enter your details to be put into the draw. Simple! The giveaway is open from today, and ends on Thursday, 15th December at midnight, and the winner will be drawn on Friday, 16th December. The lucky winner will be contacted by Frugi and the hamper will be in the post in time for Christmas for you to enjoy.
Before I go, I want to say a big thank you to Frugi for this year. When Daisy was poorly, they sent us some presents to make us smile, and they have been so supportive and kind. We all buy on quality, but I think it’s nice to know that some brands also have integrity and kindness at heart too.
Now, if you’d like something to read next, why not pop over to Dear Beautiful to see what Lucy and her gang were sent!
