A Christmas & Birthday Wish List

I wrote quite a heavy post yesterday. I seem to have a habit of doing that sometimes. So I thought I would write something lighter today. Just because Christmas really. And I like window shopping online in my lunch breaks anyway.
I actually know, for the most part, what I’m getting for Christmas this year. And it’s pretty much IKEA vouchers, which is absolutely fine by me as we’re trying our best to save pennies and be resourceful! We have a nursery to kit out, as well as Bill’s bedroom, and some extra things for the kitchen, like some shelves and a sofa (if we can afford one!).
I think it’s brilliant that we have family who want to help us to get those things and are happy to give Mark and I vouchers, instead of personal gifts. At the age I’m at now, while opening presents is lovely, I get to watch Bill open his gifts before he goes to his dad’s. And I get to see Mark’s reaction to his presents, as well as my family too. And that’s really my most favourite part.
That’s not to say I don’t like treats too. My birthday is exactly a month after Christmas, so I guess I could treat this as a joint list! Or a list that I would buy myself, should I have the money.
It mainly consists of pamper products – Lush owns Christmas in my opinion and I’d be happy to have anything from there, but these are a few random picks. GinZing is my favourite moisturiser – I’d buy it for the orange grove scent alone! The Clarins oil is meant to be brilliant for the belly, so I’d love to try that too. The Uggs I’ve mentioned before – I don’t know why they are so appealing to me when I’m pregnant but they look like heaven! The books make me so happy. I love reading and rarely get to do it anymore. I feel like social media has ruined it for me. And life is too busy to sink into a good book (with a box of Celebrations, Quality Street, or Roses please – I forgot to add those to my list!). And the Prosecco Gummies are a necessity really. If I can’t drink the fizzy stuff, I can at least eat sweets that taste like it!

Great list. I want to go to Lush and get a few bits. Always feels like a real treat. I LIVED in Uggs when I was pregnant, so comfy. Your house is looking beautiful at the moment, hope you get all you wish for and more xx

Some great choices on your list. I prefer getting vouchers or money to spend in the sales (which usually gets spent on the kids LOL!) But I do like my PJs, some perfume and a cook book to unwrap too.

Anything Lush is always a winner for me! Love the GinZing as well, although I find it too light for me in the winter. A mug and a comfy pair of socks are always winners for me (no idea why they're seen as 'boring presents'!)

Love how much lush features in your Wishlist! I told my family that buying me literally anything from there will make me a happy chappy! 😀

Great picks, hope you get some treats as well as the vouchers. I love the ginzing moisturiser, it smells so good. It was the first Origins product I tried and is amazing! My husband always buys me a Lush gift set and a book for Christmas, it's become a little tradition but I think you're right, as you get older watching your little ones open gifts is the highlight! xx
