At first I was curious. I thought it could be a bit gimmicky and that the quality wouldn’t be great. But I was actually pleasantly surprised!
As you can see from the above it came beautifully packaged. I chose the peacock feather style box as I thought it would be great out on display. It comes with a pretty Tiffany-blue bow and the polishes are carefully packaged inside and came in perfect condition.
I was able to pick the text and font I liked. And I went for “you nailed it” as I’m a bit pathetic and like to humour myself. I think the personalisation would be great for a young teen, or girl just getting into beauty. I remember being obsessed with things that had my name on when I was younger, and this is a really nice touch when you have idols like Zoella and Tanya Burr starting their own beauty lines.
So what shades did I pick?
I chose:
- Goth – a black, gloss creme.
- Red or Dare – a festive red shimmer.
- Always Opal – a pale pink glitter.
I’ve tried them all and I can report back and tell you it’s good news.
While they aren’t the thickest on the first coat, any nail fan will know this is a good thing when it comes to longevity. Thin layers work best and dry quicker too. Goth and Red or Dare both needed two coats, which is standard for me. They both lasted about three days before they chipped, with a decent top coat, which, I forgot to mention, the gift comes with (it’s decent too!). And oh my goodness Always Opal is just the prettiest glitter shade. I wore this as a feature nail over Goth and it was just beautiful. This will layer up well as the glitter is evenly dispersed throughout the clear polish and it goes on really well.
I think I’m going to wear Red or Dare at my Christmas do on Friday, as it looks perfect for some festive food and drinks and a black dress and red nails is a foolproof combination.
As for value? It’s Β£19.99 for three personalised polishes, in a beautiful gift box, along with a top coat and free delivery. Now – when you consider that polishes can cost anywhere from Β£3-Β£20 each, I think this is great value given the way it’s packaged and put together.
You may have noticed that I mentioned a giveaway? Well I’m happy to say I’m giving away the chance to have your own Enail experience, just in time for Christmas. Just enter via Rafflecopter below. UK only.
And, if you can’t wait, I’ve a 10% off code – just enter DISC10 at the checkout.
