Baby Boden on eBay and a giveaway

Before William, I had a certain addiction to buying clothes for myself. In fact, I tell a lie, I probably still do. But once I knew he was due to arrive, I became obsessed with tiny outfits and tiny things. This was back before I knew how annoying tiny baby socks can be.
I longed for designer items – every baby needs a Gap hoody don’t they? But we had a budget, and that budget often meant that I had to still to special discounts and supermarket clothing, which, while not bad, isn’t always inspiring.
Some of my favourite brands include Next, Boots Mini Club, and especially Baby Boden.

I feel like a lot of thought goes into these clothes. They are better-made. Special. Colourful. Creative. And I like that in clothes.

We were lucky to be sent these gorgeous jeans to review. There’s something about tiny jeans that will always make me grin. This pair are thick, bright, wash well and the little touches – the bright orange ties and the tartan lining – make them all the more special. William was able to move around freely in them and they will last him well through the autumn and winter months.

The best part is, Boden now have an eBay store. Yes, you heard correctly. And yes, things are cheaper too. What are you waiting for? Get on there.

And there’s something extremely satisfying about seeing tiny toes peeping out from a denim and tartan home. I think baby toes are always irresistible, even when you realise that yes, baby feet smell too!

One day, I’d quite like to experience dressing a girl. A world of cable-knit tights and pretty dresses. She wouldn’t just wear pink – she’d wear some of her older brother’s things with a girly twist. I’d finally get to own some tiny bloomers. And little swimming costumes.

I always imagined having a girl, but William had other plans! I had to get used to tiny dungarees and plaid shirts and rugby tops. But now I gravitate towards them all the time. Stopping, for a moment, to appreciate the floaty girly fabrics as I make my way to my ‘side’ of the store.

So, after photographing these gorgeous bloomer shorts and enjoying the ditzy-print floral lining and the cute little buttons, I’m quite excited to say that they could be yours if you’d like them. They are size 12-18 months and would be gorgeous with tanned chubby thighs and a peasant top in the summer and cable knit tights and a jumper in the winter.

I go with value for money – longevity, washability and repeat wearability some brands are hopeless. I confess to a passion for Next and Vertbaudet, whilst Zulily's secret sales give me unusual brands and choices which aren't on the high street.

I love H&M for bits and bobs as they tend to have quite a bit that isn't sickly sweet girly – and not pink!

Alice's entire autumn/winter wardrobe is from Mini Boden. I hate to think how much we have spent on their new collection so far! I also bought 3 skirts and 2 jumpers for myself yesterday! At least they are good quality. And pretty! Haha!
Wilbo looks adorable in his jeans, but far too grown up! xx

Baby Boden, absolutely love it! I love that the prints are bright and colorful without being too gaudy and are comfy too. I also love that they are drawstring waists so they can fit properly. And with the change in season it's time to order in the new autumn range πŸ™‚
