Dear William - Week 34

Hello charmer!

Oh my gosh you have grown up so much recently!

I think your seventh month has really defined you. And I think that sounds as daft as you probably do, but you aren't really that babyish anymore.

YOU HAVE STARTED TO CRAWL! At first, no offence, you kind of sucked at it and dragged yourself along the floor like you were re-enacting a scene from Saving Private Ryan or something, but then it just clicked and I'm exhausted from keeping my eye on you all the time.

You've started sleeping through a little more now and I feel like a new woman, Wilbo. Why did you leave it so long, eh?

Aside from the crawling, which is your new favourite thing, you have started to come on a little more with your speech. I say speech, I mean you screeching/warbling/murmuring and your general gibberish. You're still a huge fan of "da-da-da" but we also get a lot of "ay-ya-ya-da-da-brrrrrrrrrshhhh" and "ay-di-di-di" and "ahhhhhhh" and a lot of "mmm" when you are eating. I love how the closest you get to "mama" just so happens to be the noise you associate with food. Come on - just say it once!

I'm really enjoying being your mummy. You rock my world.
