Dear William - Week 33
Hello smiler,
You have been much better this week since Peggy-Gate last week. You now have two teeth - your two front bottom teeth - and you have your appetite back and you are starting to sleep through more than you ever have before. It's great - I'm not complaining!
You are definitely putting those teeth to good use and you have got such a big appetite these days. Recently you've been scoffing meat and potato pie, Shepherd's pie, vegetable pizza, gnocchi with a Sicilian sausage ragu... You love flavour and baby food was never anything you'd entertain. I remember trying to give you a pureed meal once and you looked at me in disgust. That was the end of that then!
You have been having a busy week in terms of development because, as well as the peggies, you have started your own version of crawling! It's still commando-style at the moment - Granny says you move like a slug - but it's so amazing watching you learn how to move around. You are getting frustrated and I've watched you rock on your hands and knees so many times now. You're almost there baby. We'll get you there and you can start making some mini adventures of your own!
It's my birthday tomorrow, I'll be 25 (old to you I imagine) and we're going for a family meal with Daddy, Granny and Po! We're going to the restaurant that we've been to endless times, and it was the place we went to for The Last Supper before you arrived. I can't wait to take you and watch you tuck into to garlic bread and pasta. I'm going to take lots of photographs because I think it's going to be a special night. Please behave though - we'd like to be allowed to go back again!
Love you lots and lots Billy.

ReplyDeleteHow adorable does he look here?! Awwww.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE commando style crawling. It's so funny. If you watch him for a while you'll be surprised how far he gets! Next step is crawling! Then standing. Then walking. Then talking. Then they're off getting a job, moving out and having babies of their own... where does the time go?! lol
xx
