Dear William - Week 31
Hello baby!
We're in! Gosh moving house was hard work. But we are here. Finally! Me and Daddy have been trying our best to sort your new room out, even though, to be honest, it's a bit old-fashioned. We will decorate it soon, I promise! We just need to settle in first.
Your new room isn't as big as your old one, but that's okay, because your old one was huge! And I didn't much like hoovering it all the time. This one is perfectly sized for a little boy and you have settled in so well. You didn't have any disruption with your sleep and you're actually sleeping better now we are away from a busier town and instead tucked away in our quiet village.
I'm excited, because I feel like I'm home. I grew up here and I'm going to show you where I used to play and what I used to do. You'll even go to my old high school. You may even have a teacher or two that I had, just like I did with some of Granny and Po's teachers. That's where they went too, and where they met! You'll be walking the halls of a lot of family history little one!
You have changed a lot this week. It took me by surprise as you are very much a little boy. You have been rocking on your hands and knees for a while now and you are now clambering around and trying to pull yourself up. We've lowered your cot since we moved and I keep coming in to find you rolling about or trying to stand up by pulling on the bars. Slow down! I've only just accepted the fact that you aren't a newborn.
I need to get you weighed soon as I'd love to know how chunky you are now. You feel so solid and you are very close to outgrowing your 6-9 month clothing and I'm thinking we need to stock up a little more on the bigger sizes now. I never thought you'd be this big!
On 12th January you will be seven months old. Seven months. I feel like I've been your mummy forever and I can't imagine life without you.
Love Mummy.

7 months? God that's flown in, I remember not to long ago when Will was still a bump! Hehe! Rocking on his hands and knees can only mean one thing... Trouble! ;) xo
